Aper is built by a product designer with a deep connection to bikepacking. Every detail is shaped by real use in the field, with the goal of creating gear that performs reliably over time.
Fabian designs products to be durable, repairable, and as simple as possible. Even though weight is reduced wherever possible, longevity remains a priority. The goal is to create gear that can be relied on over many nights.
Still, things can go wrong, and if they do, we take responsibility and work with you to find a solution.
In general, issues fall into two categories: product defects and wear, damage, and use.
Product Defects
A product defect is an issue caused by design, materials, or manufacturing, for example a failed seam, incorrect assembly, or material fault.
These cases are our responsibility.
All products are covered by a 2 year warranty against defects. If something is not right, we will repair, replace, or offer an appropriate solution to restore full performance.
Even beyond this period, if the issue is clearly our fault, we will aim to make it right.
Wear, Damage & Use
Bikepacking can be demanding under real conditions. Over time, wear is normal, especially with lightweight materials designed for packability and performance.
Examples include abrasion, damage from sharp ground, incorrect setup, or general wear over time.
These cases are not covered by warranty, but we will still support you whenever possible.

Proper setup and use are required for optimal performance and durability.
Repair First Approach
The APEX1 is designed to be repairable with simple tools. No glued seams, no complex constructions.
Each product includes repair patches to handle small issues in the field or at home.
A detailed Repair and Care guide will be available soon, with instructions on how to use these patches and maintain the product over time.
Our goal is not to replace products, but to keep them in use for as long as possible.
